Hill Palace Museum Tripunithara was built in the year 1865 by the Cochin Maharaja. The opulent palace complex comprises a total of 49 buildings, spread across 54 lush acres of land, in the traditional architectural style of Kerala. The impressive museum boasts of 14 categories of exhibits, including a rare collection of the crown’s memorabilia - ornaments, jewels, paintings, weapons, inscriptions, and sculptures, made out of stone and marble. We’d recommend spending a good time at Hill Palace Museum Tripunithara, surveying the historic archives. In particular, make sure to check out the gold crown studded with precious gems.
